CYNTHIA'S QUALIFICATIONS

20 Years of Environmental and Water Policy Leadership

Cynthia Koehler has dedicated two decades fighting for clean and reliable water supplies, and to protect the health of our environment. Cynthia has worked with many diverse interests to build sustainable solutions for our region’s water problems. There simply is no one better qualified to serve Marin.

Cynthia Koehler has the qualifications to ensure our water is clean and reliable:

Legal Director, Save The Bay Directed the political water policy program for the region’s oldest and most respected Bay advocacy organization.
 
Senior Attorney, Natural Heritage Institute. Represented conservation organizations to resolve water and environmental conflicts.

Assistant Regional Counsel, U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency Worked to enforce Clean Air Act.

Adjunct Professor, Golden Gate University School of Law. Cynthia is teaching Water Law at GGU in the Fall 2006.

Cynthia lives in Mill Valley with husband Gordon Renneisen and their sons, Gabriel and Jacob. They hike in the GGNRA and watershed lands near home. Cynthia serves on the Tamalpais Valley Elementary School PTA Board.
